THE INDEX: YOUR EXERCISE, PROGRAMS, WARMUPS & COOLDOWNS HUB

WHAT IS YOUR COACHRX INDEX?

Your index on the CoachRx app is essentially the hub of your coaching business, where you can design and keep various documents and information, such as templates, intake forms and waivers, programs and library resources you can assign to clients.

HOW A COACH SHOULD USE THEIR INDEX

Some of the key index items a coach can take advantage of in their index to make their life easier and help clients include:
  • Exercises: Your index contains your exercise library complete with associated videos that you can build over time. For the client, this means they can head there and search for a movement they need a little clarity on—for example, “abduction side plank”—and the search function finds the movement and associated video to attach to the training day.

    - Note: There are currently 1,800-plus movements with associated videos already in the movement library on CoachRx, so chances are whatever you’re prescribing is already in the library with no need to do any extra work for you.

    - Further the movement videos are all organized into categories: bend, squat, push, pull, core and cyclical, keeping this as organized for both you and the client as possible.

  • Lifestyle: Lifestyle prescriptions are another feature you can use in your index. This feature allows you to, for example, program specific lifestyle sleep or nutrition prescriptions of a client, or you can turn to OPEX Basic Lifestyle Guidelines to get you started.

    - The lifestyle section is broken into various categories—sleep, hydration, movement, sunshine, energy, poop, food hygiene and nutrition—to make lifestyle prescriptions organized and more clear to the client.

  • Warm-ups and Cooldowns: Like the movement library, you can also add commonly used warm-ups and cooldowns, and then the index saves them so clients can search for them as needed.

    - What makes this especially easy is that each warm-up is given a title. So if you prescribe “Heavy squat warm-up” or “Running warm-up” or “Bike recovery cooldown,” the client can easily find what they need from a simple search in the index.

    - Further, additional text and videos can be added to each warm-up or cooldown to make things even more clear for the client.

  • FME Sets: Another piece of the index are FMEs (or fitness monitoring exercises). In this section, there are some FMEs already provided on the app, however, as a coach you’re free to add your own FMEs, such as various 1RMs, or other tests you think are important for a client to track. The idea here is for the client to be able to look at actual numbers and data to track their progress over time.

    - The FME feature is broken into various categories to keep things organized: resistance FMEs, energy training beginner, intermediate and advanced FMEs, as well as OPEX Body, which includes the client’s weight, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass and basal metabolic rate.

  • Programs: While most of your business might be individual design, it’s possible you have also built more general programs, such as an introductory squat strength program, or a 8-week pulling program. The index lets you keep these programs here, which can easily be rolled out to a client who purchases one.

    - For any program you create, you can set a start and end date, or you can set it up as an open-ended program that can be purchased and started at any given time.

    - The CoachRx also contains templated programs created by top coaches that you’re free to use, or tweak as needed.

  • Other Documents: Finally the index allows you to upload other relevant documents, such as commonly asked questions, or resources or educational content and resources that you want your clients to be able to have access to.

  • Intake Forms: Your index also includes a section where you can upload intake forms, or waivers, to send to your clients. There is a default intake form available on CoachRx for you to use, or you can create and upload your own.

  • Weekly Check-in Templates: Finally, your index includes a weekly check-ins feature allowing you to provide a weekly check-in form for clients to fill out. The idea here is to increase communication and feedback between you and your clients, and ultimately to increase accountability and compliance, which leads to better results.
    - CoachRx provides a check-in template you’re free to use, which asks clients a series of questions, including how the client would rate their quality of sleep, nutrition, energy and exercise for the week, as well as to provide some wins from the previous week.
    - That being said, you’re also free to create your own weekly check-in form, or personalized check-ins based on an individual's needs.

WHY THIS IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ON THE MARKET

If you’re looking to coach long-term, and to grow your business to a place where you can be a professional coach, having the right software in your corner matters. It needs to meet all of your needs, as well as your clients’ needs.
In this sense, nothing compares to CoachRx’s all-in-one platform. Not only does it allow you to design both individual and group programs, deliver fitness and lifestyle coaching, communicate with clients, process payments, view and analyze business data, and roll out payroll (if you have employees) all in one place, it also ensures your clients are getting what they need in an easy-to-navigate way.
This is where the Index is especially useful: From the intake process, to ongoing fitness and lifestyle coaching they receive, the index provides clients all the communication, resources and education they need to stay committed and accountable to their fitness and healthy journey.
